Risk Analyst needed for a long term temporary project in Sacramento. This is a full time/40-hour, on site position. Client is considering qualified candidates ASAP.

DUTIES

• Investigation and research of complex liability claim issues.

• Collaborate with internal departments to gather claim and operational information.

• Entering critical reports and processing of mail/correspondence.

• Negotiating settlements

• Handling Bodily Injury Claims

• Risk Management Software and data analysis

• Daily, constructive interactions with internal department customers, claim representatives, and general public.

REQUIREMENTS

• Litigation adjusting and/or casualty claim adjusting experience.

• Public agency or Transit experience in claims investigations and handling a plus.

• SAP experience a plus.

• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, SAP, etc.).

• Analytical skills

• Knowledge of Risk Enterprise Software or Claims Management Software Systems a plus

• Able to work independently.

EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Risk Management or related field.

• A minimum of three (3) years of technical or professional experience in general liability or property damage claims processing, contract insurance, or workers compensation administration.

• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a similar role or a Bachelor’s Degree.

Rate: $30-$34
