Quality Control Specialist needed in the Sacramento area for a renowned industry leader in steel fabrication. This dedicated and detail-oriented individual will join the team and be able to take pride in the company’s history of delivering high-quality steel products for diverse projects across Northern and Central California. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring craftsmanship, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction remains unmatched in the industry. This is a Full-Time DIRECT HIRE opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough inspections of raw materials, works-in-progress, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Collaborating with production teams to implement and improve quality control processes.

• Identifying and documenting defects or deviations from specifications, working closely with the production team to address and rectify issues promptly.

• Performing regular audits of production procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

• Developing and maintaining detailed quality control records and reports.

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the steel fabrication or related industry.

• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and relevant quality control methodologies.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from specifications.

• Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to steel fabrication.

Preferences:

• Certification in Quality Control or a related field.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.

• Experience with non-destructive testing methods.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
