Well-established Fabricator is seeking an experienced Project Manager for their South Sacramento area location. This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity with supervisory responsibilities that offers full benefits. Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Successfully manage multiple projects with varying complexities and balance overlapping project schedules
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Create, distribute, and follow-up with submittals, RFIs, extra work, and change orders
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintenance high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
Previous experience in structural steel and/or construction management
Strong working knowledge of AISC and AWS codes and regulations
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA. Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.
