Construction-Related company specializing in commercial and industrial building is seeking a strong Project Engineer who will fit into their growing and fast-paced organization. Duties:
Work closely with Project Mangers to coordinate submittals, plans, and construction documents
Process shop drawings for approval and fabrication
Review plans, specs, and shop drawings for each project
Create, process, and facilitate RFI s
Facilitate and maintain project compliance documents
Document, process, and follow up with extra work and change orders
Coordinate with production on job status
Properly maintain and update project schedules
Requirements:
Minimum of one year of construction experience
Good understanding of shop drawings, plans, and specs related to structural steel
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient with MS Office and Adobe
Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA. Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.
