Responsibilities:
- Coordinate program logistics and activities.
- Offer information, referrals, and assistance to community members.
- Generate reports and ensure accurate data reporting to maintain a comprehensive database.
- Provide hands-on and remote technical assistance.
- Engage in outreach and educational activities.
- Update website and social media content.
- Manage program inventory.
- Create compelling content for blogs, newsletters, and media.
- Occasionally work evenings, weekends, and in-person events.
- Travel within California and occasionally outside of the state.
- Fulfill other assigned duties.
- An associate degree and two years of relevant experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Zoom
- Teamwork and leadership experience
- A background in working with diverse communities
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Are bilingual.
- Have personal experience with disability or have worked with people with disabilities.
- Are familiar with disability rights.
- Embrace the Independent Living Philosophy.
- Have experience with disaster preparedness.
- Have strong writing skills
