Job Description

PAYROLL SPECIALIST needed remotely for one of the premier healthcare providers in the greater Sacramento area. This is an urgent position and the client will entertain qualified professionals immediately. This company is seeking an experienced payroll professional who can hit the ground running and is available NOW! This is a 40-hour, remote position that allows for growth and opportunity in a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

Completes payroll adjustments and prepares payroll for processing
Sets up new starters, changes to taxes or employee automated clearing house (ACH) transactions
Sets up voluntary deductions
Processing and Entering Garnishments
Performs all travel and expense audits
General understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Must work well with a team

Requirements:

Experience in the healthcare industry
Has 2+ years of Payroll processing experience
Experience working with Payroll Time and Attendance and/or Travel and Expense tools (.Eg. Lawson, Kronos)

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
