Job Description

Payroll Clerk needed in the Roseville area who is skilled and knowledgeable to assist in the conversion from our client' s current payroll system to ADP Workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ADP systems, with a focus on payroll and reporting. This is a temporary position with a duration of three to four weeks, with the potential for long-term opportunities within the organization. The role will involve working closely with the payroll team to ensure a seamless transition and to support our payroll activities, for 700 employees.

  • Assists with transitioning existing payroll system to ADP Workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll requirements.
  • Provides support for general payroll activities, including data entry, verification, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Reports Generation: Creates and maintains payroll reports to facilitate easy auditing and verification of payroll accuracy.
  • Collaborates with existing payroll personnel to implement ADP Workforce.
  • Handles daily payroll tasks for our 700 employees, including processing payroll and addressing employee payroll inquiries.
  • Ideally, the candidate will have experience with education payroll, including familiarity with teachers' 10-month pay schedules and unique payroll requirements in an educational setting.

  • A strong background and proficiency in ADP systems, particularly in ADP Workforce, is essential.
  • Prior experience in payroll processing and payroll system administration is required.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and provide training.
  • Availability: Able to work from 7: 30 am to 4: 00 pm during the assignment period.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the needs of the payroll team and organization during the conversion process.

  • Education Payroll Knowledge: Familiarity with the nuances of education payroll, such as teachers' 10-month pay schedules, is a significant advantage.
  • Interest in potential long-term opportunities within the organization.
  • Reporting Skills: Strong skills in report generation to enhance our ability to audit and verify payroll accuracy.

Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
