Office Assistant needed in the South Sacramento area for a dynamic, fast-growing company in the public utilities construction industry. This is a newly created position that offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for a California based organization that has been around for over 100 years. A temp to hire, full time opportunity with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
Preparing billing for completed jobs for managerial review and approval
Maintaining files by uploading paperwork in the proper job file
Submit project billings, once approved, to corporate office for invoicing
Assist with the front desk in greeting clients and answering phones.
Data entry in MS Excel
Will cross-train to support additional office operations when needed.
Requirements:
Two years plus working in an office environment.
Must be comfortable on the phone with customers and vendors
Dispatch experience preferred
Intermediate computer skills in Excel and Word.
Excellent customer service.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA. Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.
