HR Analyst needed in Sacramento with a focus on recruitment and compensation. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment-focused HR, with knowledge of class and compensation practices, particularly in the public sector. Advanced analytical abilities and the capability to handle special projects independently are essential. This is an onsite, temporary position, lasting approximately 3-6 months with the possibility for permanent hire.
Utilize advanced analytical skills to support recruitment processes and compensation structure.
Manage special projects within the Human Resources Department, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
Collaborate with unions and collective bargaining agreements, as needed.
Utilize SAP and other database software to maintain HR records and support data driven decision-making.
Provide support in areas such as benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS administration.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Generate reports and presentations to communicate HR metrics and trends effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a closely related field. Alternatively, candidates without a bachelor’s degree must possess at least seven years of relevant experience.
Minimum of three years of experience in recruiting and hiring, benefits and HRIS administration, or related HR functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Public sector experience is preferred.
Familiarity with SAP or similar HRIS software.
Prior experience working with unions and collective bargaining agreements.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex analytical tasks and special projects effectively.
Pay Range: $33-38 hourly
Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA. Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.
