- Proven office and clerical experience, customer service skills, and ability to support a professional team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, data entry, and spreadsheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and effective teamwork.
- Experience interacting professionally with diverse stakeholders and maintaining tact and judgment.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines, and capable of independent work.
- Proactive in daily tasks, offering feedback, and suggesting process improvements.
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and filing (manual and electronic) skills.
- Successful completion of a background check, potentially including fingerprinting.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with UEI' s software packages: CentralSquare ONESolution/Finance Enterprise and UKG Workforce Ready.
- Ability to interpret contract language and track expenditures.
- Experience with financial reporting and computer systems.


You will:

- Assist the Internship program by handling accounting entries, managing expenditures, and performing HRIS tasks.
- Serve as the primary contact for internship program through phone and email interactions, addressing routine inquiries, and handling documentation.
- Enter award details into grants/contracts database and update accounts according to department procedures.
- Create and manage spreadsheets, financial reports, and specialized documents for invoicing and reporting purposes.
- Maintain meticulous grant and contract records both electronically and manually for easy retrieval and compliance.
- Contribute to report preparation and distribution for internship clients.
- Attend internal and client meetings regularly, and participate in various administrative tasks.
- Support Analysts with processing paperwork, organizing events, and managing schedules.
- Provide occasional front desk assistance, including call handling, visitor coordination, and mail distribution.
- Perform scanning, emailing, photocopying, deliveries, and other assigned duties.
