Job Description

Finance Manager needed in the South Sacramento area for a dynamic, well known non-profit company that is well known for their community outreach programs in the foster care sector. This is a newly created position that offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for an organization that makes a difference in children s lives. Responsibilities:

Ability to create and manage budgets.
Supervises and manages the Finance Department s daily operations.
Maintains agency checking accounts and invoices.
Responsible for the various ledgers including cash disbursements, cash receipts, accounts payable, bimonthly payroll execution and month-end payroll summary.
Oversee the accounts receivable summary and journal entries to the general ledger.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance with a minimum of 5 years managerial experience.
Minimum 3 years Payroll & Accounts Payable experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Sage, or related software as well as budget creation and analysis software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advance user of Excel.

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
