Job Description

Facilities Manager needed in the Sacramento area for a renowned industry leader in steel fabrication. This experienced and proactive manager will oversee shop facilities and contribute to the efficiency and functionality of our operations for diverse steel projects across Northern and Central California.



  • Overseeing the maintenance and operation of all company facilities, including production areas, offices, and common spaces.

  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of equipment and infrastructure.

  • Managing vendor relationships and contracts related to facility services, including janitorial, landscaping, and security services.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address facility-related needs, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

  • Planning and executing facility improvement projects, including renovations and expansions.

  • Monitoring and managing facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.



  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role within an industrial setting.

  • Strong knowledge of facility management principles, including maintenance, security, and safety.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and leadership.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards related to facility management.



  • Certification in Facilities Management or a related field.

  • Experience with project management software and tools.

  • Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient facility practices.

  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and compliance.


Pay Range: $70,000-80,000 per year


Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.  Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.  River City Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
