Facilities Lead needed in the Sacramento region for a large, well-known privately owned accredited organization in the educational field. Responsibilities:
- Perform semi-skilled & skilled maintenance & repair work of buildings, grounds, & equipment.
- General custodial duties; clean, sanitize, & maintain rooms, eating areas, office space, restroom facilities, equip, buildings & adjacent areas.
- Maintain security; securing windows & doors. Report any unauthorized persons & security problems to administrators &/or law enforcement.
- Inspects facility & grounds; vandalism, damages, sanitary/safety hazards, reports hazards & prepares work orders for major repairs.
- Use tools, equip, & supplies in safe & effective manner; follow label instructions on cleansers, disinfectant, & stripping agents to ensure proper use.
- Provide lead direction for custodial crew, assist w/planning & assigning work schedules at site & Adjust schedules to staff needs.
- Respond to cleaning/maintenance requests.
Requirements:
- Read & understand chemical labels & decals.
- Strong communication skills, high level critical thinking, analysis, reflection & cooperative team building.
- Ability to safely operate custodial & cleaning equipment.
- Thorough understanding of cleaning methods, materials& equipment used in facilities work.
- Knowledge, explain & interpret applicable federal, state & local laws, codes, regulations/procedures, values & Policies. Handle difficult situations.
