Responsibilities:

• Estimation: Accurately estimating the cost of Truss Design projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

• Bid Preparation: Preparing comprehensive and competitive bids for projects, ensuring all relevant costs are considered.

• Vendor and Supplier Relations: Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely procurement of materials.

• Blueprint Analysis: Reviewing project blueprints and specifications to identify project requirements and generate accurate estimates.

• Cost Analysis: Analyzing project costs and proposing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

• Project Coordination: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather project details and specifications.

• Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of project estimates, bids, and cost data for future reference.

• Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks and challenges in project estimates and proposing mitigation strategies.

• Continuous Improvement: Staying current with industry trends, materials, and construction methods to improve estimating accuracy.

Requirements:

• Specialized Experience: Minimum of 5 of experience in Truss Design construction project estimation.

• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Truss Design principles, construction materials, methods, and costs.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to generate accurate estimates.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients.

• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precise cost calculations.

• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.

• Math Skills: Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and cost analysis.

• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferences:

• Certification: Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar accreditation.

• Project Management: Familiarity with project management principles and tools.

• Cost Estimation Software: Proficiency in industry-standard cost estimation software.

• Industry Networks: Existing networks or memberships in construction industry associations.
