Job Description

Commercial Insurance Agent needed in the North Sacramento area for a dynamic, non-profit company in the public service water industry. The right candidate will be driven, have great organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. This is a newly created position that offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to get in on the ground floor with a non-profit that makes a difference in communities throughout California. A long-term opportunity with a possibility becoming temp to hire with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain a level of retention with their members.
Handle renewals either independently or through collaboration with assigned producer.
Generating additional revenue working with current members in the form of up-selling which includes increased coverage, account rounding, adding policy features and cross-selling.
Support the functions of other members of your team on an as needed basis.
Work with Marketing Team to assist in the creation of marketing assets such as emails, direct marketing pieces, web content and social content.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years commercial insurance experience a plus. Will cover the cost of the licensing.
Have 3 years plus administrative and customer service experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft/Office 365.
Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in a team environment.

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
