Job Description

Audit Specialist needed for a full-time, short-term account reconciliation project for a homebuilder in Sacramento.

Responsibilities:

Retrieve from their portal based on what has been paid and what has not and input transaction information into Excel spreadsheet from 800-2, 000 invoices to make sure that this information matches what their client has. There could be some that have been overpaid and some underpaid.
Reconcile and balance accounts to check for outstanding balances/ discrepancies of a high-volume client
Verify checks and paid invoices have been accounted for and match the general ledger.

Requirements:

Proficient in Excel and high-volume data entry with accuracy.
Account balancing
Some AR experience and knowledge
QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
High attention to detail

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
