Accounts Receivable Manager needed for a large non-profit in the Sacramento area. Must be able to oversee accounts receivable to ensure accurate processing and financial reporting. May develop and maintain accounting principles and supervise staff. Must be able to manage tight deadlines for monthly and yearly financials. This is a temp to hire position for the right person who can execute on all levels.
Skills & Requirements:
Supervise Accounts Receivable department operations.
Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Address any accounts receivable-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain financial controls and procedures and provide to management, as needed.
Evaluate department compliance and system efficiencies and address deficiencies with corrective plans.
Manage day-to-day operations and provide feedback to staff; Plan orientation, development, and ongoing training.
Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards.
Collaborate with Controller on financial responsibilities
Qualifications:
If High School Diploma, minimum of 12 years’ accounting or finance experience and seven years of managerial experience.
If Associates Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, minimum seven years of managerial experience.
If Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, minimum five years of managerial experience.
If Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, minimum three years of managerial experience.
Minimum three years of Accounts Receivable experience.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Other:
Ability to build relationships, lead teams, and demonstrate emotional intelligence.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Serve as a role model for professional conduct.
Pay Range $36 to $40
Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
