Accounts Payable Processor needed in the Sacramento area for a Property Management industry organization as an Accounts Payable professional. This role is pivotal in supporting our operations by handling AP processing and tenant utility billing. Responsibilities:

• Process approximately 2500 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Utilize Yardi Voyager for accounting tasks and maintain GL accounts.

• Handle customer and tenant utility billing efficiently.

• Troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues as they arise.

• Communicate effectively with customer and vendor accounting departments.

• Provide clerical and administrative support in the department as needed.

• Reconcile processed/paid transactions and verify payable amounts.

• Import and export invoice data to and from Yardi, ensuring data accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with federal ID numbers, insurance, and workers' compensation requirements.

• Prepare final balancing and review for check run submissions to third-party vendors.

• Code payables and check requests accurately.

• Resolve online payment discrepancies and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets for utility companies.

Requirements:

• Mathematical and analytical acumen, understanding of accounting principles.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining complex financial records.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently or within a team.

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel skills.

• Experience with Yardi Voyager and Avid is preferred.

• Fast and accurate data entry skills

Preferences:

• AA/AS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is desired but not required.

• 2+ years of experience in the Real Estate or Property Management industry is desirable.

• Ability to think critically, innovate, and analyze data effectively.

• 10-Key by touch

Pay Range: $25-28/hr
