ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONAL needed at a locally owned company near Rocklin, specializing in medicine and wellness. This is a full time/ 40 hour, temp to hire position. Will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and oversee daily transactions including bank reconciliations, account payment preparation and payroll. Advanced communications are critical to interact with internal and external stakeholders. Position is on site with option later for HYBRID.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee cash flow, bill payments, and reporting.

• Manage financial transactions using QuickBooks.

• Reconcile bank accounts monthly.

• Reconciling equipment, service cost, and payroll.

• Manage and oversee daily operations of accounting department, including accounts payable and purchasing.

• Maintain and control chart of accounts and ensure proper transaction coding.

• Coordinate and complete audits.

• Payroll Tax Returns – Quarterly and Annually.

• Prepare payroll and staff reports for analysis.

• Assist Human Resources with payroll functions, and production reporting.

• Support ongoing business development projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role.

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Experience with QuickBooks software.

• Proficient in MS Excel.

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience.

Pay Rate $32 to $38 per hour ($66,560 to $80k)

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position.
