Accountants needed in the Roseville area for an established Non-Profit organization. This is a critical role for a community oriented company. It is a long term, possible temp to hire position, for the right person. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews general ledger and prepare journal entries/adjustments as needed to correct balances

• Assists in the transaction preparation, posting and reconciliations for all books of account and related journals

• Reconciles general ledger accounts as part of closing the month, the year or grant

• Prepares and maintains Excel spreadsheets 

• Regular and predictable attendance

• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• GAAP Knowledge

• Minimum of two years experience in a similar position

• Strength in MS Excel

• Experience with Grants is a plus

• Bachelors degree in Accounting related field with 24 semester units in accounting required for the direct hire opportunity

Pay is $31per hour

Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.  Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.  River City Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
