Office Manager needed in the Folsom/ El Dorado Hills area for a dynamic, well-known construction company that focuses on mechanical and electrical work for power plants. This is a newly created position that offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for a locally owned company with unlimited possibilities. A temp to hire, full time opportunity with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee administrative duties to ensure that the office operates efficiently.
Responsible for Prevailing Wage, Certified Payroll, multi-state.
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems.
Work with management on special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Three to five years experience as an Office Manager for a construction company.
Experience in payroll with Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll.
Two years plus in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Proficient in QuickBooks is required.
Strong communication skills.
Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA. Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.
