- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns
- Act as first point of contact to clients and manage client accounts
- Create MS Excel spreadsheets and update existing forms
- Assist in documenting and monitoring of internal controls
- Perform other duties and projects as required
Mathematics education/background is preferred.
Previous experience with sales tax filing process is preferred.
Previous knowledge of Vertex software is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of two years experience within an office setting
- Two year degree or equivalent with a focus in accounting and/or mathematics
- Intermediate MS Excel skills with working knowledge of V Lookups and Pivot tables
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
