The Customer Service Representative is needed for an established and professional organization in downtown Sacramento. This is a temporary position for approximately four (4) months. Client will entertain qualified candidates immediately.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high levels of customer service and professionalism in telephone and written inquiries from clients and patients regarding the peer review process and peer review policies and procedures
  • Communicate with patients and clients to determine if a complaint is appropriate for review
  • Enter, track and monitor case information in the case management tracking system
  • Close, organize and file cases
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of all case information and documents
  • Draft and send necessary documentation to all parties involved in a peer review case
  • Scan all documents, records, and radiographs necessary for case review and forward to appropriate individuals
  • Other duties as assigned by Peer Review Manager
  • Read patient complaints to confirm appropriateness for review. If inappropriate for review, prepare and process necessary closing documents
  • Collect all necessary forms and records in a timely manner to process peer review cases
  • Review all forms and records received to ensure each case file is complete

Requirements:
  • Must have a High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years administrative assistant or secretarial experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Telephone customer service skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organizational and written communication skills
  • Type at least 45 wpm
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondence and proofread complex documents
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Must demonstrate diplomacy and tact while interacting with all levels within and outside of the organization
  • Requires computer skills, and ability to operate Windows/Microsoft Office, Power Point, and Excel
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality is a must
