BOOKKEEPER needed in Rancho Cordova at a specialized retail company. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity for the right person who brings experience in general accounting area.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing payables and processing payments as needed

• Payroll processing and maintenance to payroll service

• Assisting in month end financial reporting and processing

• Analyzing data/ transactions, reconciling entries against accounts and researching discrepancies

• Making phone calls, reaching out to vendors/services on behalf of the company regarding transaction discrepancies, and other tasks required to support the finance department

• Monitoring new employment laws and rules and keeping the company updated

• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends

• Creating relative monthly reports to the executive members

• Working independently as well as in a team

Qualifications/ skills:

• QuickBooks & MS office suite proficiency

• Analyzing information

• Dealing with complexities

• Reporting research results

• Data entry skills

• Working with owners and other accounting staff

• General accounting principles

• High attention to detail

Experience / Education:

• Multiple years of bookkeeping experience

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
