AS FULL-CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

Full-Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant needed for a large non-profit company located in Downtown Sacramento. This is a temporary or temporary to hire position, for the right candidate.
The main responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and payroll benefits reconciliations. This position will work closely with the Office Manager to make sure entries are in the correct GL accounts, and ensure the accounts are balanced and closed correctly with all revenue and expenses recorded to the correct funding sources.
Ideally, this person will be familiar with audits, tax preparation, and all aspects of reconciliations and be familiar with Sage MIP. Candidates experienced with Sage products are preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel is required. Must be familiar with 401K and employee benefits (insurance, FSA, etc.). Personal Property Tax (Sac County Tax Filings). Strong GL, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable. Must have the ability to do research and tax filing for the Secretary of State. Experience with non-profit desired. Must be able to provide two supervisory references and proper identification to verify eligibility to work in the USA. River City Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
