Accounts Receivable Specialist will be needed in the Sacramento area for a dynamic, fast-growing non-profit in the home lending industry. This is a newly created position performing accounting functions in the processing, verification, and maintenance of financial documents in the Accounting Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for a non-profit that makes a difference in communities throughout Northern California. A full time, contract opportunity.    

Responsibilities:

• Process timely and accurate billing for each funder and maintain communication with the internal & external customers.

• Follow up on collection of unpaid grants receivables. 

• Apply/submit all AR cash payments in accounting system.

• Conduct periodic self-audits for assigned accounts and prepare reports.

• Provide excellent Customer Service to internal and external stakeholders.

• Accurately compile, post, verify and maintain computerized and/or manual records and files.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn SharePoint and client’s web-based reporting software

• Work independently as well as in team environments.

• Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.

• Work in a team-oriented environment.

Rate of Pay $27-$30 per hour

Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.  Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.  River City Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
