Accounts Receivable specialist needed in the downtown Sacramento area for a dynamic, fast growing non-profit firm that focuses on the education industry. This position offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to work for an organization that makes a difference for the community. This is a long term temporary position to cover a leave.   

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for account receivables processing and payment processing.

• Will generate monthly AR batches that are high volume for multiple entities.

• Bill internal and external requests from members

• Respond to inquiries via phone and email.

• Database entry and management of member files.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles.

• Familiar with non-profit accounting and bookkeeping a plus.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Proficient with QuickBooks On-line, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay Rate $23 to $25 per hour

Must be able to clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA.
